PRIVACY POLICY.

Effective date: June 17, 2026 · Last updated: June 17, 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how Performance Structural Standards Group, Inc. (“PSSG,” “we,” “us,” or “our”), operator of the Performance Structural Integrity Protocol (“PSIP”) and the website at psipprotocol.com (the “Site”), collects, uses, shares, and protects information about you. By using the Site or submitting any form, you agree to the practices described here.

1. Who We Are

PSSG is a Tennessee corporation and the institutional issuer of PSIP certification. For privacy questions, contact us at info@psipprotocol.com.

2. Information We Collect

Information you give us

We collect information you enter into our forms. Specifically:

  • Find a Contractor waitlist: first name, last name, email address, phone number, ZIP code, certification track (Concrete or Aquatic), and project timeline.
  • Charter Class enrollment application: first name, last name, company name, email address, phone number, state of primary operation, and selected directory tier.
  • Payment information: when you enroll, payment is processed by our third-party payment processor. We do not store full card numbers on our systems. We receive limited billing confirmation data such as the last four digits, billing name, and transaction status.

Information collected automatically

When you visit the Site, we and our service providers may automatically collect device and usage data such as IP address, browser type, pages viewed, referring URL, and timestamps, through cookies and similar technologies.

3. How We Use Information

We use the information we collect to:

  • Match homeowners with PSIP-certified contractors and add homeowners to a regional waitlist where no certified contractor is yet available.
  • Process Charter Class enrollment applications, certification, exam scheduling, training material delivery, and directory listing setup.
  • Process payments, confirm billing, and manage renewals.
  • Communicate with you about your application, certification, account, and the Charter Class, including by email, phone, and SMS where you have provided your number and consent.
  • Operate, secure, and improve the Site and our services.
  • Comply with legal obligations and enforce our Terms of Service and Billing and Refund Policy.

4. How We Share Information

We are structurally independent of all material suppliers, and we do not sell your personal information. We share information only as follows:

  • With PSIP-certified contractors: when you submit the Find a Contractor form, we share your project and contact details with a matched certified contractor so they can reach you. By submitting the form, you request and consent to that contact.
  • With service providers: our customer relationship and website platform, payment processor, email and SMS providers, and analytics providers, each acting on our behalf under contract.
  • For legal reasons: to comply with law, respond to lawful requests, protect rights and safety, or in connection with a business transfer.

5. Messaging and SMS

If you provide your mobile number and consent, we may send you SMS text messages related to your project, enrollment, certification, account, and service updates. Message and data rates may apply and message frequency varies. You can opt out at any time by replying STOP, and get help by replying HELP. No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Information sharing with subcontractors who provide support services, such as customer service or message delivery, is permitted solely to carry out the services you requested. All other categories exclude text-messaging originator opt-in data and consent, and this information will not be shared with any third parties.

Note on contractor lead routing: the matched-contractor sharing described above is a service the homeowner requests by submitting the Find a Contractor form, not third-party marketing.

6. Cookies and Analytics

The Site uses cookies and similar technologies to operate the Site, remember preferences, and measure traffic. You can control cookies through your browser settings. Some features may not function correctly if cookies are disabled. See our Cookie Notice for details.

7. Data Retention

We retain personal information for as long as needed to provide our services, maintain the certification and directory record, comply with legal and tax obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. The PSIP certification and closeout record is designed to be a long-term documentary record. Retention periods for that record are set in our internal data policy.

8. Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect personal information. No method of transmission or storage is fully secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

9. Your Choices and Rights

  • Marketing: you can opt out of marketing email by using the unsubscribe link, and opt out of SMS by replying STOP.
  • Access, correction, and deletion: you may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information by contacting info@psipprotocol.com.
  • State privacy rights: residents of certain states may have additional rights, including the right to know, delete, correct, and opt out of sale or sharing. We do not sell personal information.

10. Children

The Site is intended for business and adult use and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us and we will delete it.

11. Third-Party Links

The Site may link to third-party websites and services. We are not responsible for their privacy practices. Review their policies before providing information.

12. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Policy from time to time. We will post the updated version with a new effective date. Material changes will be communicated as required by law.

PSIP is structurally independent of all material suppliers. The protocol scores. The record documents. The dataset is being built. Nothing PSIP publishes carries a financial relationship with any admixture, cement, aggregate, or ready-mix company. References to specific products in PSIP content are field observations by the author, not protocol endorsements.
