POOL SHELL LAST?
Longer than the finish over it, which is the distinction the question usually collapses. The shell is the structural concrete vessel and the finish is a surface that gets renewed on its own cycle, so a pool that has been replastered has not necessarily had a structural problem, and a pool that looks perfect has not necessarily avoided one.
Two lifespans are being asked about at once, and only one of them is visible.
A pool shell is the structural concrete vessel that holds the water in and the ground back. It is covered by an interior finish within weeks of being placed, and from that point it cannot be examined again without removing the finish. So the question of how the shell is holding up is answered by inference through a surface that is not the shell, for as long as the pool exists. That is why a record made during the days the shell was exposed keeps paying out for decades.
The finish is meant to be renewed. The shell is not built on that assumption.
Almost every confusing answer to this question comes from mixing the two together, and separating them makes the rest of it tractable.
Pool plaster is the cementitious interior finish applied over the structural shell.
It is a finish and not the structure, and it is the surface you will look at for years while learning nothing about what is behind it. Renewing it is ordinary maintenance rather than evidence of a structural event.

Tile, coping, decking and equipment can be inspected, compared and replaced at any point in the life of the pool. The shell is the one element that cannot be, which is why its record has to be made while it is exposed.

Three things have to be true before a figure means anything.

Gunite and shotcrete are placement methods in which material is projected through a nozzle at high velocity so that the force of placement is what compacts it. There is no separate compaction step. Both are placed by a nozzle operator working by hand and by eye, which puts the crew inside the structure rather than on the surface of it. Two shells built the same month by different crews are not the same product.
A shell is placed against excavated ground and holds water against soil for its entire service life. Ground movement, drainage and the water table are real variables acting on it continuously, and they differ property to property in ways no general figure can carry.
This is the difficulty unique to pools. With a driveway, at least the concrete in question is the concrete you are standing on. With a pool, the structural element has been behind a finish since a few weeks after it was placed. Any statement about its condition is an inference drawn through something that is not it.

This is the only moment the shell is ever documentable, and it lasts days. Ask who will be on the nozzle, whether the shell crew is the builder's own or a subcontractor, how the reinforcing will be encased where steel is congested, what will be recorded on the day the shell is shot, and how the shell surface will be prepared before the finish goes on. Ask the seller for the construction file, and ask specifically for anything from the shell stage. Photographs from the build are worth more than people realise, because the shell is fully visible for a matter of days and it is the stage people instinctively photograph. A pool with a documented shell is a materially different asset from one without, and almost nobody prices it that way yet.
Separate the two clocks before you spend anything. Establish whether what you are seeing is the finish, the bond beneath it, or the shell speaking through it, because they carry different consequences and different bills. That is the page on the three addresses. Then start a dated photo series from fixed positions with the water level noted, because stable or progressing is the question every professional will ask.
Two dates first: the day the shell was shot and the day the plaster went on. Then who performed each, since the two jobs are commonly done by different subcontracted crews under one builder's name. Then every photograph anyone took while the shell was exposed, including the builder's own progress shots and, in earnest, neighbours who watched it go in.

The useful version of this question is not how long. It is what do I know about mine, and the answer to that one is fixed on a handful of days early in the pool's life and then never improves on its own.
