PSIP is not taking payment yet. The exam and payment open in November. A Charter seat is claimed only by payment, by the first 25 contractors to pay on each trade side. Passing the exam does not hold a seat. The rates below are the published Charter Class terms.

PSIP certification is billed annually, and it is all you buy to be certified. Certified contractors are listed in the directory when it opens. No tier buys a place in the lookup, the record or the rotation.
PSIP Certification (Annual)
The PSIP exam, a PSIP Certificate issued by PSSG in your legal entity name for every job you document under the protocol, and a listing in the contractor directory when the directory opens. Renews annually.
First 25 contractors on each trade side. Hard cap. No waitlist.
You keep $499 while your certification stays unbroken. After a side's 525th member, the rate rises for new members.
The gap between Charter ($197/year) and Standard ($499/year) is $302 per year at today's standard rate. The Certified rate of $197 per year is uniform across both trade sides: Concrete Side and Aquatic Side Charter Class members pay the same Certification rate.
Trade Side notice. Aquatic contractors enroll via the Aquatic Side Charter Class page; both trade sides submit through this enrollment form. The Charter Class is 25 seats on the Concrete Side and 25 on the Aquatic Side.
When a side's 25th seat fills, that side's Charter Class closes.
The Charter Class is capped at 25 contractors on each trade side. When a side's 25th seat fills, that side closes for good. There is no waitlist. Members 26 to 525 on each side enroll at the standard rate of $499 a year and keep it while their certification stays unbroken. The standard rate is the same on both trade sides. The Charter rate does not return.
This is not a marketing window. It is a structural cap. The Charter rate recognizes that the first 25 on each side take on the protocol before anyone else.

The $197 is your first year at the Charter rate, and paying it after you pass claims your Charter seat. The Charter Class is capped at 25 contractors on each trade side. When a side's 25 seats fill, that side closes permanently. There is no waitlist.
Enrollment is not open for payment yet. The rates above are the published Charter Class terms and will apply when enrollment opens. Nothing is being charged today and no payment details are collected anywhere on this site. A Charter seat is claimed only by payment. The $197 will be your first year at the Charter rate, starting the day PSIP sends you a working app login, with a 30 day satisfaction guarantee from that day. Charter Class pricing stays with your account as long as each renewal clears within 30 days of your anniversary. If a renewal is still unpaid after those 30 days, you keep your Charter certificate number but the Charter rate ends for good. A refund ends the seat and the Charter rate for good.

By enrolling you will confirm that you, not PSIP, decide how your work is done and are responsible for meeting local codes, permits and licensing. PSIP records the work and certifies that it was recorded.
